Hi!! I’m Brittany Thore—born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and on the waters of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. It felt only natural to attend the University of Kentucky in Lexington— right in the middle of the two—to study Elementary Education.
After graduation, I began teaching 4th grade at a private Christian school in Lexington. There was no way I was leaving my college sweetheart—now my husband! Lexington, Kentucky is now my home. After three years in the classroom, God opened a new door. I joined our church staff as a content coordinator for the children's team. That’s where I discovered my love for small groups and content creation. My role was a little like Santa’s workshop—me and my team of volunteers would prep monthly curriculum supplies for more than 10,000 kids! It was a fun and fulfilling way to use my teaching skills in a whole new context.
Then 2020 hit, and everything changed. With church services moving online, I had to get creative—fast. I began designing digital supplies and unexpectedly stepped into the role of graphic designer. This truly sparked my creative side in a way I hadn’t fully explored before.
My life was about to make another big change. We found out we were expecting our first son in 2021. I desired to continue working for our church contract work for about six months, but God made it clear that even part-time work outside the home wasn’t His best for our growing family.
In the summer of 2022, my friend graciously invited me to a Bible study that reignited this weary momma’s soul. It captivated me and helped me see the Bible through its original cultural, historical, geographical, and linguistic context. It helped me see Jesus in His everyday life so that I could see Jesus in my everyday life.
Fast forward to 2023 when our second son was born. While nurturing him, I often had an earbud in, listening to books on prayer and dreaming big. As I listened, I began writing a list of bold prayers and dreams—a bucket list of sorts—and one idea kept stirring: a Bible study journal. I couldn’t find one that guided me through Scripture while helping me understand it through its original context and inspiring me to live it out. I needed a study that helped me feast on the Word with intentionality and depth—asking the kinds of questions that bring Scripture to life. So, out of necessity, I created it. Ever B, LLC (2025) officially published Fulfilled: A Study Through the New Testament, bringing a spirit-led vision to life.
Over the years, I’ve led all kinds of groups—elementary, high school, college, moms, couples, women, and volunteers. Today, I continue to host a Bible study group of my friends that began meeting back in June 2022 that has morphed over the years. I just love gathering people to dive into the Word together. There’s something so powerful about coming around Scripture in a good and godly community—where we can encourage one another, ask honest questions, and grow together in faith. It feels a lot like the early church in Acts—and it’s beautiful. My hope is that everyone would find a place to belong, in community, and in the Kingdom of God.
